Meet Jennifer

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) at Well Roots Counseling

Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, pregnancy loss, and the many transitions that come with motherhood.

Jennifer's passion for maternal mental health is shaped by both her personal experience and her work as a therapist. As a young mother, she experienced postpartum anxiety and pregnancy loss, giving her a deep understanding of the emotional challenges many women face, and the overwhelming pressure to “do it all.” Those experiences strengthened her commitment to helping women feel supported through every stage of their motherhood journey.

Jennifer's approach to therapy is warm and collaborative. She draws from specialized training to help clients work through trauma and other difficult experiences. As a certified yoga instructor, she also incorporates nervous system regulation when it supports a client's goals.

Jennifer sees clients virtually in Colorado and North Carolina.

Meet Elizabeth

Founder of Well Roots Counseling and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor With a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), she is dedicated to supporting women through some of life’s most vulnerable transitions, creating a space where clients feel seen and secure.

Elizabeth’s own experiences with infertility and pregnancy loss deeply inform her approach. She understands the emotional weight of IVF, the anxiety of the “two-week wait,” and the silent grief that often goes unseen.

She also works with mothers overwhelmed by the daily demands of motherhood, navigating burnout, “mom rage,” and the unrealistic pressure to do it all. Elizabeth brings warmth, empathy, and evidence-based care to each session, helping women reconnect with themselves and move through both the pain and the possibility.

Elizabeth sees clients online in Colorado, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Vermont.
